saxo 1.6 faster than gti??

Post by aldo10 »

i was racing a saxo 1.6 the other night and it beat me  is it faster than the gti??? because i really didnt think so. i put it down to the fact a need a new speed sensor and the airfilter was a mess (got a k&n coming) plus there was a gap above the throtle body and it was leaking air i just fixed it today. i have not really done any mods as yet but am still in shock, how can i stop this from ever happening again??????

As much as i hate to say it, the vts will leave us standing in our gtis.

We might have more power but the Saxo is much lighter because its French and its made out of foil, paperclips and chewing gum. Can I presume it was a VTS, as if it was a VTR it was either modified or you had something quite wrong with your car!

Just remember this though mate 3000 GTi's in the UK, 3000 Saxo's in every town in the UK

And yeah, the GTi looks better, has a nicer interior and is made a hell of a lot better.

LOL! too right
my old pug 106 when fitting aftermarket speakers.........the rear parcel shelf was chip-board and the side doors were just filled with some cheap foam, lolly wrappers, tracing paper etc

they are crap cars. they are cheap nasty pikey toys which have no class. I am sorry but they are just nasty.
Even if a bit quicker it would prob brake and fall apart when you go over a pot hole!
