kurbing+ klonk

Post by OMEGASUPR3ME »

i kurbed one of my alloys the other night as i overdid a powerslide on a private road and ended up mounting a kurb at about 20mph, i will post pics of the kurbing when im back home and was just wondering if there was a way i could "fix" it myself or would i have to take it to a bodyshop or something. another problem is that ive knoticed that when i turn the steering wheel from left to rite i feel a little klonk throught the brake pedal and the clutch pedal, it doesnt seem to have effected anything but i mite take it to the garage for them to have a look. any thoughts would be very helpful

take the wheel off an look for bent stuff.

i did the same about a year ago now. and i ended up writing off the wishbone subframe suspention strut and TCAs. then the CV died 6 months after

if it looks bent replace it. if the powdercoat is cracked like the metal is stressed replace it.
