Hi lads just bought black polo diesel Preg in mint cond just as a run around, While my mk2 golf in body shop. I have a set of bbs rm's 7"x15 et25 going to get some 185/45/15 tyres. How low ca i go without any wheel arch modds wil be req? Had the rm's for good 2yrs so may as well put them to good use. Thanks for all feedback

probably quite low.

from what i've read off here i imagine a drop of 60mm would give you no problems

185 eh? most people are running 195/45/15 with 60mm drop... so Id say 60 will be fine... or 80 but with possible rubbing (If im chating sh!t here please tell me to shut up)

Thought if went 185/45 profile will be lower and bit more stretch look on tyre and lower it that bit more. Only one make of tyre i've found do 185/45/15's. going coilovers so can adj just right, ordered online today avo coilovers from motorsport world. Order tyres tomorrow.

I wouldn't go more than a 60mm drop to be honest.

80 your going to have problems with speedbumps and the weight of the 1.9 lump.
