First crash last night.

Post by Mk3 Chris »

Was driving along a windy dark road with beams on about 11 up comes a tight bend, me with 3 people in the car steered to wide and hit a bit of loose gravel, lost control and hit a 2.5ft high country wall (made with boulders surronded by bushes) head on, all we heard was a bang and my car was balancing on top of a wall... had to get my mate to pull me out.

Been to the garage... repairs required... new bumper and no. plate.

Will get some pics of the car and the wall later tonight.

Ah, minor damage...

I mashed the front of my Golf into the back of a car in a multi-storey not too long ago... was far worse damage than that!

You should of seen the state of my metro turbo after i put that on its side too!!

Looks like an easy fix!

:o

How wierd is that! Same thing happened to me in the GT the NIGHT I picked it up, though I drove into a load of bushes at 3am because the brake pads and discs were badly worn (the handbrake light was coming on and I thought it was a dodgy handbrake sensor, lol). I scratched both sides of the front bumper, which I wasn't too happy about as when I picked it up 6 hours earlier I was really chuffed that the bumper didn't have any parking knocks
