need advice guys..

Post by vdubyabush »

basically i went to mongoose today to try and get myself a full system exhaust, turns out they dont do 1 for my 99 T reg 1.4 8v, so i asked about other companies and he basically told me to stay away from scorpion, magnex, janspeed and powerflow, well my question is what do i go for company wise? i want either a dtm or a letterbox upswept one for my car am feeling quite downhearted now and the guy hinted i actually need a good car for me to get a cat back or full system :?

please help me out

cheers guys

been told to stay away from powerflow and longlife exhausts! shoddy build quality and welds crack as they employ people who dont understand how to weld stainless steel.

have you tried piper? they make good sounding exhausts

Oh yeah... How could I forget about Piper (I have it on my car  )
Loud ass exhaust on faster roads... 95% of the cars get out of your way (even tho you cant over take them but hey its fun watching them move)

I've got a Janspeed

It's quiet on idle and when pootling along, then when you boot it, gives a raspy, metallicy sound like a Ferrari 8)

have u tried milltek?? good exhausts and top build quality so i've read on seatcupra.net!
i had a remus backbox on my polo and that gave a very nice idling burble and a very nice subtle roar when accelerating! and that was just a backbox!

as mysteryboy has already stated, the garage is talking rubbish!!
