What don't you like about it Jon?

Personally i don't think it's that bad! Obviously he hasn't gone for the Euro style mods but thats personal choice. The car looks like its been well looked after (even if he is a chav) so can't see why its a disgrace to the Polo family. Only part i don't like is the "carbon fibre engine cover". :? Don't see the fascination with that!

Just my opinion tho!

Not a disgrace but certainly needs a few changes.

Carbon Fibre enginer cover is horrid,
Needs smaller alloys and lowering,
Red rear lights and get rid of the stupid NOS.

I'd have to go back to the OE Wheels, get rid of the carbon fibre, sunstrip, and swop the audio for some higher end stuff, but other than that it's not that bad.

The lights look ok on it imo.

17"s on a polo dont go too well IMO.... apart from that its alright...

How much extra bhp would NOS add?

Well, the description says its a 75bhp-shot kit, so I'll go with... 75bhp?

I don't think much of the wheels, as said above 17"s are a bit big for a little car. Get it back on some 15"s with some quality coilovers and you're sorted with a rapid little motor and NOS to boot. NOS can be a bit difficult to insure mind, a lot of insurers aren't interested any more I heard.

I have a good idea, ill put 17's on my polo so that the breaking distance is almost doubled, then ill fit NOS so that its twice as fast. That way ill be doing 150 with absolutly no breaking power but luckily my pistons will go way before then so ill be ok

Thought NOS was more for acceleration than for top end speed? It gives you more effective boost down towards torque rpms than the high end of the power band, and it's best to fit a progressive boost controller so that you don't shag all of your pistons, crank, clutch, gearbox, driveshafts, tyres, neck etc by a sudden application of 100hp where you were cruising way down at 25 a half second previous.

Trying to break the sound barrier near the limiter in top using NOS is something to keep in GT4 anyway I would have said. I wanted always to fit it to the 1.0 just so overtaking and pulling onto dualled trunk A-roads would be a less nervewracking experience, but I could keep the economy...
