Hairdryer will do the trick of softening the glue and just be careful when removing. If you go too heavy handed you may pull off some laquer as well.
If you have a heat gun it will be easier
yea just stickies, but if u aint got a heat gun or a hair dryer u will b doin wot i did, scraping all the glue off an i still have wee bit, i have 2 try an melt the rest off now
you can get a rubber wheel that drill mounted from motor factors thats just for taking the tape off as its only good double sided.

Ill second that comment bout the rubber head attachment for a drill. I had my doubts an was rubbin like crazy with compound tryin to take off d sticky stuff left on the door until my mate (whos dad is a panel beater) called in and told me bout the drill bit. It sounds dodgy and like it would damage the paint but once your any way carefull it doesnt at all! Saved me hours and my sanity!
i was removing my bump strips and a flake of paint, just thinner than the bump strip came off, would it be easy to repair it without it being really noticable???
just touch it up wit sum paint, get the right colour match tho
im havin trouble wit my strips, ive got them off but im left wit glue still stuck 2 the car an wen i had the hairdryer 2it 2 melt it, i cudnt find anything 2 take it off wen it melted a bit, any suggestions???
Yeah Polo boy, hot soap water and a card of some sort, get the panel wet and soapy where the glue is and put the card on it and push it all to one side, thats what I did and it worked really really well. If not get it wet and soapy and use your finger to rub it off, that worked alright as well.
