Removing clocks

Hello all,

Can someone give me some idea of how to whip these clocks out?

Taken off the steering wheel cowling and cant see any screws or anything.... :?

Clock surround comes off, then it unscrews.

you use stereo removing tools (u shaped bits of wire metal) they slot into the 2 little holes either side of the clocks and unclip the clips inside so you can just slide the whole unit out

thats true on a mk2, but this is a mk3. Dude has posted in the wrong section Easiest way IMO is to first remove the radio and air vent (the air vent pulls out and theres a screw holding the surround on.) Removing these means you can get your hands in and in to press the clips in. The clocks will just pop out then. theres a plug at the back of the clocks that can be quite awkward to get at, but you should be alright.
