should this have a cd changer built into the cd player?

as i was reading through the book and seen this but didn't know if this model has one

nope it shouldn't!!
a cd changer for this polo was an optional extra on all models i think! most of the models came with a radio/cassette as standard with a single slot cd player an optional extra aswell!
i've just read that the gti has a cd changer in the boot?? someone back this up??

Yes, the GTi has a 6-CD changer in the boot, on the left-hand side near the rear light there. Very easy to spot if you have one! Also has the Gamma head unit up front
