Nosegrind *Link Fixed*

Post by ModifiedMadness »

I found this on another forum, this is what the guy said about the vid
This is what happens when the Dubai government puts a speed bump on a stretch of road notorious for speeding motorists. The important thing to note is that they didn't tell anyone about the installation.
Apparently the last car is a Lambo (where the title of the post becomes apparent  )

*EDIT* The post on the other forum must have shortened the link, it's fixed now

The funny thing is the Lambo sounds like it carries on booting it when it lands

I think I may have stopped to check my car

I haven't even seen the vid but the very idea has just put that look on my face for real. That'd be mega...

edit: *watches vid* (after figuring out how to bypass the unavoidably broken part of the download)
OMG! :D :D :D :D :D
you think the sparks are big with the taxis? just wait...

I like Dubai now (any potential political issues aside), with this and the drag races. Everyone boosts over the speedbumps (though some get freaked out and spin afterwards), rather than slowing down to walking pace like their cars don't have shock absorbers.

That's the thing, none of them know it's there  That's what makes the vid funny, the Dubai government put a speed ramp there without informing anyone, so they carry on speeding down there only to take off and bottom out

no, because you only take off if you're already speeding quite a bit. it's not the world's harshest bump after all - it's one of those raised pedestrian crossing jobs. :D

And they're all minted in Dubai anyway, so they don't need the money.

The guy in the Lambo proves that by speeding up again when he lands

Apparently he had to have new rear wheels, rear shocks and a front bumper
