thinking about starting a new business soon, would be renting out bullet camera's along with the camcorders.
Main people i whant to target is mountain bikers, snowboarders, skiers, mountain boarding, mainly extreme sports. For these i would hire out bullet cam for helmet or headband with a archos av500 which comes in a case that is pretty much bullet proof, can take allot of abuse.
For people whanting to film their car at a trackdays or get some good roads filmed you could record straight to a camcorder in the car, have the bullet camera mounted anywhere on outside of car, can also put microphone near engine or exhaust to pick up the sound.
I currently have a web designer working on the site for theidea, hopefully should be up within a few weeks.
Price wise ive been looking at other companys, which have allot bigger overheads than myself, and decided would be able to rent the camera and camcorder out for £100 for a week. Would then edit your videos into a one hour dvd, for a small fee would be able to make longer also make copys for mates etc.
You could get some really good footage of your car, find some nice roads to blast along,try camera in diff places on car, as you also have the camcorder you could get a mate to film you with it doin a drive by etc, then i would edit all in2 dvd.
