Mint wrote:Got a metallic green [dragon green] '97 1.0 litre Polo (model L). So far ive got some 15" alloy wheels and clear indicators. I plan to lower it and tint the windows and rear tail lights soon. I also plan to colour code the door handles and bump strips. I'm one of the few people who appears to have the 5 door version , but i cant complain as my super cood daddy bought it me
nice car mate, what are the wheels?
aye, get the colour coding done, will look sweet as fook.
i prefer 3 doors but theres nothing wrong with 5 doors at all, alot more practical, and pissed ur mates off less!
The wheels are some random 'AEZ' wheels i bought from motorworld. They were on offer and had low profile tyres included so i snatched the chance. I like the look of them though, really improves the overall appearance. True about the practicality of the 5 door versions, but yeh the 3 door ones look more sporty.

3 doors are best for people like me...(people who dont give a fook about their mates)
What is special about the colour concept u have? It looks gorgeous from the pics but i've never heard of it before (im new to VW)
Looks like a nice find though. Is it a model above the GTi or a replica or slightly lower than a GTi?
its a limited edition they did, with the nice interior, electric gadgets, tidy wheels etc.
i wouldnt say it was above or below the GTi, some people would beg to differ though, but each to their own. to me its the best car on earth
