it's just a risk, just dont b racing around, an if u do crash an ur ok, try an get rid off the mods an change things b4 ur car gets looked at by the insurance ppl, my mate did that :P

Especially when you have to try and find a standard air filter, standard wheels etc :roll: Just declare them all, it's much easier.

most insurance companies will cover a certain value of audio equipment anyway! some say £300 and others have said to me £1500!!!!

Hmm... i was with Cis for the 1st year i started driving, i was only 18 then, i was only about £900 fully comp on my own, and all they asked me was 'do you have engine mods?' and thats for a 1.3

i found adrian flux very expensive for me.
my cheapest quote this year has been tesco!! and they will cover all/any mods as long as i tell them about them!!

Well to say Adrian Flux are supposed to be a specialist insurer (young drivers in hot hatches etc)

They wouldn't even quote me on the GTi unless I had 1 year NCB or was 21.

thing is.. if you aint declared the mods say for example the alloys, when they look at how you crashed they will look at your car and compare it to the description the insurance company have of it.. and they do a spot the difference :lol: then they can void your insurance and you end up paying a lot!!
