URGENT RESPONSE NEEDED!

anybody know how to take the 3rd (boot mounted) brake light off a 6n2?

got 2 rubber covers off and theres 2 circular holes but i dont no how to get the light out.

anyhelp is appreciated.

has it got a spoiler like the GTi or is it an interior brake light?

if its on the spoiler then there's 2 star headed bolts holding it in...

its just on the boot its self, but ive sorted it now mate, cheers tho

yeah i had to get mine out because i wanted to tint it........That Haynes manual actually had a use for once!

any chance of a pic mate? theres no way i could get a clear replacement one could i? coz i'm with you on when you say the red one looks tacky!

give me 5 mins dude, ill go get 1, watch this space..

dont think u can get clear ones, if the LEDS r white then u defo wont b able to because the light wuldnt shine red.

cheers mate, i might try taking mine off and kind of tinting it silver (the colour of my car)

Yeah i wouldnt mind finding out if theres a clear one It looks like a big old zit at the back of mine :)

looks much better, and it will look even better with a spoiler. but with mine i have the spoiler and a stupid RED 3rd brake light...!

need to find a way of getting it to look better.

what did you use to smoke it out toby?

i think i've taken modding to a new level by using a black cd-r pen for mine :lol:
