bloody rubbish round this way, but then it has been for an age.
too bad i'm not round my nans, as a nice big ice-rink effect has taken hold in the parts of the car parking area that are, quite obviously from the location and icyness, never touched by the sun in winter. played around on it a bit last night, got lots of wheelspin in reverse and 3rd, hehehe...
still, better than it was up in nottingham. didn't snow a bit up there, all that happened there was that it got siberian cold, enough to take your hands off if you didn't have gloves. even in my otherwise well stocked hotel room, i found myself cowering next to the radiator on MAX for much of the evening, as so much heat was streaming out of the room - through double glazed, well-sealed windows, heavy overcurtains and a layer of netting too! (In contrast, when i was up there in january, putting it a couple notches down from that nearly cooked me alive)
coming back i had a nice surprise to find the roads very obviously icy when i got off the motorway, and bloody numpties in landcruisers and turbo vectras trying to eat my ass on slippery corners.

according to weatherlady, today should have seen a big blanket of the white stuff descending across the country, moving from the newcastle area al across the midlands, into wales and some parts of south england. SO WHERE THE HECK IS IT? I want my snow damn it! *puts on long neglected JJ72 album*
