Lowered, GTi splitter fitted, and a new exhaust! *Updated*

Post by Ollie_R »

Hey everyone,

I've just fitted a GTi splitter, which was a mission to fit, but I got there in the end. It looks so much better with it on, and should look great when I lower it sometime next week. What do you guys think of it?

Yup, looks smart, did the same to my old 1.0E.

Only other thing after lowering I might suggest, are some silver-look front indicator bulbs.

Just another update on how my car's coming along.

Click the thumbnails to enlarge the image

Lowered about 35mm on H&R springs, it'll probably settle after a while and will drop a bit more. It could go lower, but I'm happy with the height.

New remus exhaust :D It looks good, and it makes an makes the nippy 1L engine sound tons better.

And another pic from the side.

According to H&R, it's 35mm. It should settle nicely soon.

I was thinking of getting the bumpers smoothed and the splitter colour coded, but I don't think it will happen in the near future due to financial constraints.

Thanks for the comments people :)

Is it just me or does that look a tad lower than 35mm?

Looks cool anyway though!
