This is what i'd like to know... at a glance, i'd still say no, at least not in the UK... but im researching into it, as there is even a space for a fuse to control folding mirrors in the car and this fuse is mentioned in the handbook, but nothing about this function is mentioned in the handbook or in any VW brochures about the polo gti....

I think perhaps in a different country they do... or maybe it was just an idea by VW and it was never installed in any polo gti worldwide to cut costs

and so the switch picture is like an 'old batch' before they made them without that icon printed on them

:?:

Im looking into retro fitting though!

Find me a mirror that has the folding bits inside and would fit a polo and ill work out the rest!

Im getting hold of a switch with that symbol on, to check the wiring connections to see if it does indeed have a connection to help us

I think Golf mirrors would be possible?

i've looked at the mirrors on my mums gold, and although they're not foling ones, they look like they'd be okay size wise, not too big, but not sure if mounting is the same, really want to get this mod though, esp where i have to park at work

We can get the motors to do the movement, but depends on the size now I guess, to house the motors for the movement

Will think over weekend

Yep, it's supposed to be like that.

I was confused when I first saw it, the drivers one gives you a wider field of vision for overtaking.
