Ultimate Dubs 2006 picture thread: 56k no way!

Post by Si_GTi »

Mine are on the way, they need resizing from whatever the max size the camera takes them at is, down to forum-friendly format

Went with MintySE, we saw ICEYPOLO and had a quick chat, spotted poloracer and his smart new 9n3 (very nice!) but didn't chat 'cos he was talking to some other guys... saw Josh's Furby but no sign of the big man himself, then we spotted him whilst up on the balcony bit (you can overlook the two halls from there) taking photos of his ride but he'd legged it when we went back down

Odd lack of trade stands (you could count them on one hand) but it was a new show and a smallish venue. Will definitely be up for this show next year though, it was pretty good for a first effort, and kudos to the organisers for bringing the Belgian contingent over! 8)

Car of the show for me was a Belgian cream-coloured Polo 6n with all-over smoooothing and air-ride. Ooh sir!

Pictures soon, feel free to add below in the meantime!

EDIT: nevermind

Sorry I didn't catch you today...

Excellent show imho.

Shame there was no "Best Skoda" category LOL!

I'll definately be going next year.

I loved the Cleaned.be 6n... I saw it at Worthersee last year and fell in love with it then... It really is a minter.

Sorry mate, didnt realise it was you, should of told me who you were, just thought you were some bloke chating to me. What did you think of the car?? Thinking about going even wider at the back, make it look even fatter!! Just a note to everyone, I only changed the wheels at the show, so when the car was jacked up it pushed the suspension up. It looked low at the show, but when you ride it about a bit it drop's another 10mm at the the front and 20mm at the back. Over all it was a good show, will definatly be going back next year, maybe with a blown lump under the bonnet!!!

Hi

Was good to meet you.

Don't think it needs to be any wider at the rear with regards to your wheels, but the arches could really do with flairing a bit to at least cover the tread blocks on your tyres.

Looks ace though mate!
