Power Steering Rack

Hi,

a friend of mine has a 6N and saw this on ebay

he has no power steering and was wondering whether this is enough to give him powersteering.
Neither him nor me know much about these things, my guess however is that you need much more than only this rack and that its also complicated to put it in the car, but since I don't know about these things I might b wrong... (Since I has a bad accident with my 6N last November I cant compare it with my car)

Do you know whether this is enough to give him power steering and wether its easy to fit into his car?

Hmmm, other things you'd need:

Power steering pump
Hoses
Reservoir

etc etc

It could be done, but it'd be pretty expensive at the end of the day. Your much better looking at an aftermarket system because its gonna end up much cheaper.

Didn't knwo there are aftermarket powersteering systems.. I'll keep my eyes open...
