Ok ive got everything i need to set up my cd changer but im having difficulties as to how to mount the cd changer in the boot. What do i need? should i just drill it into the boot?will i need a cage to do this? Could you guys gimme some help on what you think the best ideas on how to mount it and where to put it in boot.
Also how hard is it to pull up the carpet to feed the wire from the cd player to the cd changer in the boot and to also make it go back down again.
I have a standard VW BETA sterio and single cd player and the cd changer is a standard 6disc VW cd changer. Thank you

NNNNNOOOOO

Don't just go drilling random holes in the boot, could cause all sorts of damage.

m pretty sure Vw will do some sort of mounting bracket for a factory fitted cd changer, best bet is ask at your local dealership or vagparts

You need to buy the cage, not sure of the part number will try look it up

Check on ebay maybe too before buying from local parts at dealer

The cage provides the mounting point for the cd changer, secure and in the correct place causing no damage
