What size tyre does everyone run on their 13" G40 rims? 175-65-13 ?

Just curious as I've just bought a set and want some decent tyres on em ! Plus what brand do ya use.

r these aftermarket RAs or genuine G40 RAs because according to my bro, they are different widths apparently!
at the moment he has a set of toyos which he got from

175/60-13 Thats the standard G40 tyre size. You can get a couple of makes including the Yoko A539 which I rate highly.

my bros wheels are genuine g40 and, as hardhitter said, they r 175/60/13!! he had Toyo Proxy CF1s which he says r very good tyres indeed but i think he said his next wheels would be Yokos!

Yeah the're genuine G40 wheels, exactly the same as yours Dan.

175/60/13 it is then.

Mytyres.com are very good, I always bought my Toyo's from them, however me mate had some trouble when he ordered some Pirrelli's, but like I say, I've never had any trouble with em! :wink:

toyos seem to be very competitively priced on there for the quality of tyre!!
i was looking at dunlop, goodyear or hankook i think for my next tyres (remember i have 205/45/16 and may need 215/40/17 if i get alloys!!!!)

I ran the T1-S on my 200bhp import Integra, and they really do grip well under hard conering/set off. Especially in the wet.

For summer use, I'd go for Bridgestone Potenza's RE010's every time, I gaurantee you wil not find a better tyre for summer use. The tyre walls have no flex, and the car feels so stable at high speeds.
