New headunit

The requirements are:

- Silver
- 1 Colour display
- MP3

Hey bud,

You cant really go wrong along the lines of Alpine, Clarion or Pioneer so might be worth just having a look about to see which suits your style.

i can recommend you take a look at this site tho as they are really good on the pricing

I can comment on that headunit Phil, I have one in my room. Just waiting until I get the rest of the gear for it to go in.

Looks great, is easy to use (the middle knob/button controls just about all you'd need it to) it's switchable between 40w and 60w and comes with a remote :lol:

It would compliment the blue on the dash a treat, but as Randall says Car Audio Direct is the place to go 8)

I really want it, but dont know if i can justify £200 for a headunit... ice really isnt important to me. Just trying to think of anything else id like before i buy one.

It was £280 when I bought it, I then went on to spend another £300-£400 on audio which is all now in my bedroom :lol:

If you do go for it, you'll like it.

i just bought a jvc head unit which has 50watts x 5. mp3 wma, it has sub controller and everything you could need in a head unit, its a amazing system and WELL worth £200, but i only paid £90 :D its on sale in argos, the link is : http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... VC.JVC.htm

the lights are white and blue, the blue actually shows up alot and it is quite bright, has a dimmer settign though, looks amazing, sorry no pics as i jst fitted it on monday!!! 100% satisfied, i meen i work at a place cald in car centre, (incarcentre.com) and we do this stuff for a living, the head deck is extremely high quality and very good features, also its jvc so you cant go wrong, i would stongly advice you to get this mate!!, also has 2 outputs front and rear, makes things alot easyer!

Sorry i didnt mean the display, i mean the buttons etc, see how its red, can you change that?

i think my buttons are a bluey white mate, not sure!! could swear they were blue :o

i checked it for you, the buttons are red, but the screen is ful blue and white, looks amazing...if you can bear with the colours well worth it!

Thanks for all the help, but ive just got a full leather interior so the headunit will have to wait :)
