question from a mate- mk3 wheels

can you find out what is the widest rim i can go to without arch mods on a mk3 gt? im hopeing for a 9*14 rear and a 7*14 front??!!

will this be possible. thanks for any help

i think you should be ok with a 7 but a 9 will deffinetly need arch work!

7" is a bit of a squeeze also! alot of people have no problems with 7" but it appeared that i did! i'd say 6.5" would probably be one of the widest to stay safe!
