MkIV Golf lights on a 6n

And our survey says...... no comments about the bonnet (should be called a 'bin-it') and the skirts, i know there wrong!

I'm looking for something a bit different, was thinking about going for some A3 headlights as this has been done quite a few times so must be *quite* easy. Got any pics of the A3 ones Alex?

Opinions on the Golf lights please..........

Uhm...

I hadn't seen the Mk4 Golf lights on a Mk4 Polo before to be honest. Doesn't even look too bad. And, I haven't seen A3 lights either! Wonder how that looks though.

The 'shaved indicator look' I did see, in person even, and I'm a bit 50-50 on these. I like the novelty factor, but I don't know if I like the look alltogether.

The orange polo with the A3 headlights (that was in Readers rides of PVW) was from spain, there was a website on it but think it was a car tuning shop rather than a site with pics of the car :( Thats the only one I have seen with the A3 headlights, looked sweet, was the new one piece headlights for anyne who didn't see them.

The other option that has been done a lot more is the Mk5 headlights, there are a few pictures about of Mk4s with them

Yep, mk5 lights are quite popular. Either with or without the complete front end. If I'm really unlucky one day (and brake too late) I'd probably go for a front end conversion. Add a badgeless grill, fill the notch... GTI bumper with regular headlights...

Yum!

I like the Mk4 lights. I think they look good on the later shape! As for the rest of the car though, hmmm... metal flake paint is just dirt. why do it??

I dont like the shaved indicators. Saw it on a few mk3 too at mania.... The lights just look like they are missing something..

I'd like to see the A3 lights though... I'll have to give Jaap a shout to see if he has some piccies!!!

Audi A4 headlights ( new ) are an another option..it depends on your budget. After graduation and if my polo is not sold by my family i am going to do Mk5 xenon conversion....

Thanks Karl :D

Lovely color there btw...

But in all fairness, the A3 lights look pretty decent. Didn't quite expect that, but it's not bad at all. Given the option between these two, I'd say A3.

Personally, I'd go for the Mk5 lights, but it's more common than these two, I have to admit.
