Mk4 Service Warning Reset

Anyone know how to do it?
I could dig out my manual, but cant really be bothered...

i think it goes like this:


- key out the ignition, press and hold the milage reset button

- put key in, start engine

- wait till all the lights have gone off on your dash (air bag etc)

- et voila. should be done

I did search but only in the MK4 forum so thats why it didnt come up.

The above should work on pre-98 models, 98 or after require a computer to reset it. According to Hayes.
