men are better drivers as the woman who backed into Ben's car shows.

At least she's admitted to it, unlike the silly bint who backed into my escort and drove off despite having 4 people watching her do it.

Ring the police "Yeah, bring your documents into the station." How's that going to help? Lazy feckers.

I can't believe the number of people who drive 4x4's who can't handle them. I was on a job last week and a bloke in the car park in a pajero was trying to wave me out of his way so he could get round a corner.

If that isn't bad enough, I could have got an XLWB Sprinter round the corner and through the gap without a problem.

For him, it was that tight he actually had to put his phone down when a bloke I was working with knocked on his window and yelled "Dude - I could get a f**king bus though that!"

Sorry to hear that dude. I had a kind of similar expereince. But my car was rear ended weeks after i bought it. Luckily the guy just like yours admitted fault. Use this to your advantage.

You can claim through her company without paying a penny in excess e.t.c. This may be good for you, especially if your young and have a high excess because of that like me  You dont go through your insurance company, so you dont need to tell them, unless u just notify em.

You just need to get her to phone her company and let her admit to them that she hit into u. I did it this way. And when the other party's company contacted me I just told them that I can only have it done by VW otherwise it will void my warranty.

Even if its not just say that as its a valid excuse. Mine was under warranty but it didnt have a clause like that at all, i just said that as I wanted a proper job and paint match, making it unnoticable.

Sorry to see the damage mate!

Are you sure your VW garage has its own paint shop? I worked in the trade and dealers just recommend one they're pally with.

If I was you, I'd ask on a few forums and see who people in your area recommend.

All the best,

sorry to see that ben, bet u felt sick mate??
glad u have faith in VW, i lost mine after they left me with 2 dents (one in either wing) that i didn't request!!

firstly they tried saying that they were on the car when i left it with them, so me and my dad kicked up a stink and they ended up taking full responsibility!!
they got the dents repaired, reserviced the car for free, cleaned inside, washed the engine and washed the outside!!

hope u get everything sorted quickly mate!!

i was just lucky really that my dad was there, generally speaking i'm quite placid but i fume on the inside, my dad tho knew the service manager and kicked up a stink with him!!

the dents tho were in identical places on either wings, no way that i could have dented my car with that accuracy!!
and to this day i have no idea what caused the dents!! could have been one of those ramps that raises up maybe??
