1.4 16v 75bhp --> 100bhp

Post by Weedle »

What are the main differences between the 16v 75bhp and the 16v 100bhp?

Is it simply the ECU having different values that produces the extra 25bhp

or is there a difference in the engine itself ???

Im very interested as if its possible id like to make mine the 100bhp ??

or am i just pi**ing in the wind !!

Yeah there is alot more to it than just the ECU

The cams are different, and likely the exhaust ports and inlets.

By the time you've done all that you may as well just buy a 100bhp in the first place, I think there's a better spec on them anyway.

Hope that helps, probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for though :lol:

u could always get ur car to revo or custom codes (or equvilant company)who do remaps on ur ecu and could get u a fair bit over ur 100bhp demand!

have a look here:

hope this helps!!
