Polo Taillight tinting spray

Post by h4r1s »

hi,
im new to the forum, found this forum searching on google :). i have a 2000 1.4SE 16v Polo 6n2 but the thing i hate about it is its GREEN :x. how do i put pictures from my computer up, or can u only do them from the net?

i bought some taillight tinting spray by savage but before i applied it i looked for a guide on the net and it said i should spray a coat of clear lacquer paint. i have sprayed the tinting spray but not the lacquer and im not sure what the lacquer would do. has any1 else tinted their taillights?

you're meant to laquer it after spraying as far as im aware.... but you need to "prime" it before spraying.

You can upload pictures using http://www.imageshack.us/

Off topic - You're names Haris right? :)

ROFL no you dont need to prime before you spray and if you did you would completely ruin the lights... think about it, how does light come thru 2mm of grey primer...

It's all done and sitting on my drawers

I'm getting another grille with a Black VW Badge so I can swop grilles as the GTi badge is a right bastard to get out, I gave up after a while

If VAG Parts get's back to me quick enough, pics will come at the weekend.

It's about time I took some more of the car.
