Its really not my month!

Post by polopowah »

well i went to pick up a few mates from the train station yesterday evening....pulled into a parking bar and didn't notice a spring back pillar thingie, that i drove straight over to park in the space. The car got beached on it and took lots of revving to drive it off :(

The damage....

well its crunched my exhaust and i can't see if there is a hole, it certainly isn't going to drop off but it now sounds like a Scooby or Evo, now you wouldn't think that would be a bad thing!
but if i take the car over 60 in 5th gear the car sounds like its going to explode, it vibrates and cackles away and is reminicent of a Group A Rally Car and deafening to say the least!

im thinking abit of welding will fix it?

join the club hun!
i've been cursed since my lil polo came along!!
what with the engine problem, then getting broken into, then the hella lights cracking, and the other day some chavs let a basketball hit my bonnet.... was about 3 inches away from hitting my windscreen - i think it would have shattered if it had hit it, as you all know how hard/dense basketballs are. left a scratch on my bonnet

I think they can put this putty s**t on it if the holes not too bad. Welding an exhaust up isnt expensive.

When i got my suspension fitted the brackets where damaged on the exhaust so it was making a creaky noise, they welded a new section in etc for free :D
