Got all my kit assembled but still have a stock battery. Bass Mekanik recommended an Optima RedTop but I think its gonna set me back at least £120 and can't afford that at the minute especially given that i'm gonna have to pay a garage to upgrade my 'Big Three' wiring.
Could I settle for a 720amp Bosch Silver? If so I can get one from Costco for £50. What say yee ICE enthusiasts?
Heres my rig:
-- DLS Ultimate A5 (The Big Three)
Current draw, idle : 0,5 A
Current draw, maximum : 90 A
-- JL Audio XR650 comps
-- Diamond M5102.8 10" sub

good suggestion although not all diesel batteries are deep cycle!paulzpolo wrote:one of the cheapest ways to do this is go for the diesel version for your model of car,as these batteries are heavy duty, deep cycle and still should fit in the same space you have, what i have done in the past, better than forking out 160+ for comp spec battery, ran ok on three amp system!!
and the bosch silver top will be awesome!
EDIT: get a proper ICE shop to do the Big three- wherebouts are you based Noddy? will find out who is most suited to help you and have a word with them (have over 300 ICE shops as our customers at work)
Holy christ! Thanks man ^^^
I'm based in Newcastle. I was going to go to AutoSounds to ask them. You affiliated with them at all or would you recommend somewhere else?
Also does anyone else want a Bosch Silver? I can get them for £51 from Costco. If theres interest just PM me and we can fix it all up.
