does anybody know if the 1.0 litre polo coupe fox is carburettor or not .i have searched on the internet but cant find any information
p.s its a 1992 model

it's a single-point fuel injection unit, with an electronically controlled injector module taking over the role of the carb, rather than having one per cylinder mounted right down on the inlet manifold --- which is why you might be confused looking under the bonnet. certainly had me scratching my head until i found out.
its a bit of a wierd system and doesnt deliver a great deal of power benefit unlike regular injection systems, but it's economical, reliable, and a hell of a lot better than the sorry old pierburg excuses for carburettors
