Major service with cambelt... doing it early to be safe ;)

Mine will need doing at the next one which is 58000 or August.

That will be the cambelt, tensioners and water pump with that one

On another note, my GF just passed her theory test :D:D

35/25 and 69/74 :D

i have tax and mot this week

and big service next month

its coming up for 60k cambelt service but the belts and tensioners were done at 30k so im gonna see what the vw specialist says

phil, how do you actually afford to spend so much on your car.
esp considering you're a student?

i work full time and i can just scrape enough for new tyres, mot and tax this month... :cry:

Duno cleaver money management i guess, and a talent for ebay ;).

Once ive completed this months tasks the car is offically finished!

Yeah I've not long started selling a few bits and peices on eBay, and I can see how it is possible to make quite a bit of cash by knowing what to buy and sell on there. There are often news stories on people who give up their "real-world" jobs and make a living purely by trading on eBay, making upwards of £20,000 pa!

I'm the same as theclient, can't afford much over the basic maintenance, but part of that is poor money management :lol:
