insurance confusing

im well confused i jus got myself a quote for a G40 for the hell of it ( i cant afford to buy one at the moment but i thaught id do it to see what kind of silly price there wanting to insure me for

im 20 with no no clamis and paying £1700 for my 1.4 8v mk4 ( S reg)
and i got a quote for a mk3 g40 and they want £1300 or £984 with 1 yrs NCB

now i am confuzzed.

how can a 93bhp mk3 G40 be cheaper to insure than a mk4 60bhp how why.

did u fone them or was it a quote from the internet, if its teh internet, give them a ring just 2make sure, coz thats well cheap, my 1.0l insurance is 1100 an thats on my mums name an im 18. fairly dear

its 113as standard the insurance company was wrong lol. so the quote is prolly more.

i still cant get over the quote for £1300 for a G oh well.

Before I had the Bumper smoothed I was paying just over £1800 on my GTi, I'm 19 with 0 no claims (I was only a named driver on the last policy)

Tesco i have had 2 recorded crashes

first was a non fault. stupid bint pulled out infront of me at 40mph i swereved to cut across the road out of danger and she caried on at me.

seccond i was being a nobhead and spean the car out up a kirb

so im paying the same as i was for my mk1 punto when i was 17.

hopefully when i renew in october it will be cheaper.
