induction kits!!!

Post by nai8 »

'ello peeps...

i'm quite a rookie so pls excuse me if i sound "un-educated"

had my polo for bout a yr now, lookin at sortin the air filter out and been browsin da net for induction kits...
i've come across loads of manufactures but the most common seem to b k&n and pipercross... any particular differences i need to know about?
has anybody got any recommendations? any decent manufactures i may have missed?

cheers for all, if any, replies!!!

Welcome to the forum Nai.

I reckon you should pay the extra cash and get yourself a BMC kit, they're slightly more pricey than the K&N's but well worth it I think, as I bought a K&N and kind of regret it now.

The difference is negligible really but I felt that the BMC kit gives a more "refined" sound and grants you an additional 5-mental-bhp in comparison to the puny looking K&N filters.

Ultimately, its all about personal preference as to which one you choose but browse the forums here and try searching for "induction" as it throws up some useful threads that should help you come to a decision.
