alloys on a 6n2

Post by zahir_213 »

was wondering what a good size would be for alloys on the 6n2, i dont want to modify anything else or make it rub on the wheel arches.
Looking at these ripspeed alloys goin at halfords, just wondering what size i should get and if they would fit.

Cheers

or go for some 17's and 16's and swap them around every so often..17's will not touch even if you lower it, yesterday for the 1st time i had the car full with two people in the back (and they weren't light i tell you...) it didn't touch even when going over speed ramps... 8)

Hi Karl if i get a reasonable price i will the centre ones are like a smoked finish i didn't get them coloured tho they would look ott, i'm getting more and more tempted to buy the new polo the more i see them the more i'm thinking begining of next year when my warranty runs out i'm thinking instead renewing the warranty putting some extra cash towards a new shape..it's moles fault and his friend sbp and pesky and petrified and the rest in there 9n's didn't think the new polo would grow on me but it is...

205/40/17's rub bad, 195/40/17's do not rub even when lowered.

thanks for all the feedback guys, much appreciated.
Just one thing i wanted to know, for all you guys with 16s and 17s, does your power-steering feel heavier or has the steering been affected by your alloys?

cheers
