It wasn't that it took long, they were just pretty hard to pull off and had to be straightend where they'd bent.

Luckily not too bad so next time they'll still look just as good, but I won't put as much tape on them 8)

Right, now I'm a bit more awake than I was yesterday evening  here's the few pics I took from the car parks and around the show!

First image is neilw on his first run up the strip :)

That blue Polo was really nice, flared rear arches are spot on and the front bumper looks great! When I was on the way out of the show I saw it being driven by a young Asian lad, no-one know whose it is, no?

Also, Matt spotted this on a Polo's windscreen when we were wandering around the car park:

The Silver VW Caddy was mint.

It fooled me, I actually thought it was a Seat until Dino said he thought it was a Caddy.

The VW steering wheel confirmed that :D

It was really impressive, a seamless transplant of parts from a salvaged Ibiza Cupra. When we got talking to the owner he showed us the fully functioning Seat dash (with functional climate control) and the engine transplant - its got the Ibiza's 20v turbo! :D

well ello everyone!!

this is the first chance i've had to say anything about the show, had to see the g/f as cars came first this weekend for a change!! hehe

just like to say, that i thought it was a great show, with some really cool cars!! good to meet some new faces and of course to see all my old buddies from the south east meet!!

in all i took about 150ish pics, quiet a few from the strip, me and doug were having a bit of a competition to see who could take the best moving car pic!! his camera has a faster shutter speed so he won!!

i will try and get some pics up soon but i have only just looked at them myself!!
i think my car of the show was that silver caddy van with the ibiza front end and rs4 wheels!!! spot on was the words i was looking for!!

running it very close was a black golf rallye whose paintwork was like glass and it had a pink interior and lovely chrome alloys!!

on the whole disappearing act, well when rich, tom and his bro went to get food, me and doug realised that we were right on the end of the strip so it was a good opportunity to take some pics of the cars at full pelt!!! we did try and find ya again but when we got back to the car u'd gone!!

ah well theres plenty more shows this year to go to!! will probably see u at some!! :D

oh yeah, one more thing.......big up that jet car woot woot  :D
