Earth wire

i just find out today that my earth wire is missing form the distributor cap on my polo 1.4 8v. does anyone know where i can get a new one from and how it is fitted?

you can buy earthing wire from maplins or other places like that, don't know where it goes because i havn't got a mk4 but i'm sure someone here knows

yep all you need is a piece of wire - but of the correct gauge, then strap it to a bare metal part of the bodywork
