My Old Polo E185 HLM

Post by Polo Paul »

Hi guys, i parted with this car in February 2004. She was traded in in chesterfield and probably got auctioned off as she was a usable, if a little tatty car. Just wondered if any of you guys knew of her existance?

I really did love the colour, especially with the black plastic trim!

I don't recognise it from here, but I've done a vehicle search on it, it's still around and hasn't changed owner since 25th april '04, when I presume it was auctioned off. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but at least you know it's still on the road ;)

I thought it would be :D, it was a tough old swine and had been mechanically babied all its life had a FSH and a file as thick as my arm when she left me, just a tatty body. The date sounds about right yeah, would love to get that car back, first cars you never forget them!

Edit: how did you find out she was still on the road? Curious more than anything. Didnt realise you could.

It is indeed Stratos blue, still got a few cans of spray paint and the touchup stick in the garage!

I got rid of her because i was doing motorway milage and the 1.05 werent great motorway cruisers, had some real fun in that car! Could hit 60 in 2nd downhill! And when you hit the top of the engine the lights on the dash started to glow. Ahhh memories.
