Throttle Body size

Post by RICHARD HARPER »

Hi,
I was wandering if anyone knows the size of the Gti's throttle body outlet ?

The reason i'm asking is that i'm away to make up my own CAI kit, but need to know size so i can order the pipe for between that and my air filter.

I'd check myself but i'm working away in Africa at mo with ma work

Cheers

P.s. I've been reading up on my car and it says it has an "EDL Diff Lock"

What does that actually do ?

I used 63-76mm 90degree samco hose, folowed by the halfords bmc replica. I then used 76mm samco connector, going to a 90deg alloy elbow, another connector, then a 45deg alloy sleeve, straight down where my charcoal cannister once lived (now relocated), follewed by some ducting going to the fog light housing. Looks and sounds amazing, though cost over £130 in total.
