Did a quick chop of my car after someone mentioning to Dave about getting his lights tinted instead of a bonnet extension.

I quite like the idea but I dunno if it looks like the black is over done on the front?

The edit isn't very good but you get the idea..

bit dark in the pic but i think smoked lights would look great on ur car mate!!
saw ur car at santa pod on sunday and was very impressed!!looks much better in the flesh than in the pics!!

looks good
saw it at santa pod aswell, the front lights are different from any other smoked units you can get (i have black angel eyes on mine and they look good)

Oh well.. I can't find any people that do smoked units and I don't really fancy doing it myself.

I might go for black angel eyes but I dunno. If I do I will want a bonnet extension as well then as they look goofy otherwise

Hey where can i find the black angel eyes that you have. I've tried looking everywhere they are very hard to find!

Source a spare set of standard headlights (or use your own if you're feeling brave!) and split them, then paint the rear of the inside of the light housing black or dark grey. Voila! I think that the lights have to go into the oven for a bit to warm up the adhesives used and make them splittable though :shock:

I can understand why you wouldn't want to do it yourself!

Do what they suggested on Club Polo, spray a set of headlight covers black 8)
