Car Speakers for 6n2

Post by MaxZ »

Hi,

I've only recently got my 6n2 and wanted to change the audio set up. I've purchased a JBL GTO4000 amplifier and the JBL GT4 sub. I wanted to upgrade my speakers now and was wondering if I would be able to change all 4 or am i going to have to change just the front 2 as the amp only has 4 channels. Any help is appreciated.

A true music/ICE euthasist will have the following setup and tell you the only things you truly need are a decent set of comps upfront n a sub.

I went a bit mad with my polo but in future i will follow the guide lines

So does that mean I should keep the rear speakers as they are connected to the head unit or unplug them completely?
Ideally I would want the treble to balance with the bass.

i would just run them off the headunit...if anyone else would like to contribute their own thoughts go for it.

I'd do as Randall says, run the rears off the H/U, a decent set of fronts from the amp and a sub in the rear.
