V Reg GTI's
V Reg GTI's
Are the V reg models different in any way to the other models? engine specs etc.. thanks!
Hello, welcome to UK-Polos!
V-plate cars are the earliest of the GTi's I think. The engines are all 125bhp 1.6-litre powerplants, ARC engine codes. Later cars, around the 51-plate, were AVY engines, I think they were modified to comply with EU emissions regulations? But in the purest sense, all factory-standard Polo GTis are 1.6-litre 125bhp cars
The early cars, V and W plates, are known as "pre-alignment" so the equipment spec can be different on them. Just little things, like some cars have red seat belts, others have black ones. Some have manula air conditioning (like mine) and others have Climatronic climate control
Anything else you need to know, just holler
Cheers
