fitting fog lights

read a DIY guide about it and it says dont forget the washer, but mines didnt come with washers :( how important are they - do i really need them?

also any one tell me how the hell you unplug the wires from the wee black bit :?

also any ideas on a switch or such-like to turn them on and off ??

cannot find anything about this in the DIY guide !!

Any help is appreciated !!

you unplug the current head light switch by - when in off position push it in , turn it to sidelight position and it should just pull out - and you unplug the bit at the back

and if you dont have a switch already get it from vagparts

that what you did titch ?? it all came witht he gear from vagparts??

i am gonna order my gear from em !!

so the switch thing links it up with the rear ones ???

maybe i didnt understand - is there a new switch ( turny-roundy thingy or centre console ) comes with or has to be ordered and it all links up pretty easy - this is the one bit i dont understand !!

yes it is a whole new switch you order from vag parts, you have to take out your current light switch and replace it

thought so - cheers for clearing that up titch - you paid £146.00 all in for the bottom grilles,foglights and switch yeah ??

no mate i paid 146 for fog light and switch - the grille bits were more :(
