anybody no where the best place is to mount a cd changer in the mk5 boot is?

In the GTi, it is mounted in a protective cage on the left hand side of the boot, next to the rear light cluster. I haven't got a picture of it, sorry!

Mine is mounted to the back of the seat on the left side

Mine doesn't look like a original VW one :? but im not sure...

I'd say it's not an original VW one, it's not the same as mine anyway.

what do u do if u need to fold ur seats down to fit something big in? a load of bodies or something? :lol:

I bought the car with cd changer already fitted there, havn't really had the need to fold the seats down yet, but good point i wont be able to fit many bodies in will i? :wink:

If it came as standard, there is a cutout in the boot lining next to pass side cluster, the cage fits in here

Not sure how you would place a cage otherwise??

Defo possible though
