Replacing glass in electric mirrors.

I need to replace a craked mirror on the nearside of my polo - ordered the glass off ebay, but looking for instructions on best way to remove the old cracked one and fit the new one.

The mirror glass should have a plastic backing. On this plastic backing you should find a VAG part no of about 10-12 letters long me thinks...give VAG Parts a call they should be able to help you further
