1) Meguiars Hot Rims (wheel cleaner)
Excellent stuff - did you check the back of the bottle to see if there is any warnings about spli rims?

2) Meguiars Nxt Generation Car Wash
Again good stuff

3) Meguiars Deep Crystal System Polish
Awsome.

4) Meguiars Quik Detailer
Fantastic for quick clean up's - like i did at Santa Pod :)

5) Meguiars Scratch X
Requires lots of elbow grease but worth it

Just checked, doesn't say anything about not using it on splitties, sounds as though it's cool to use on any wheels 8)

Glad you approve.

Meguiars wrote:Quik Clay Detailing System

Tree sap, overspray and industrial fallout are just a few of the contaminants that bond to your paint’s finish making it rough and lacklustre. Meguiar’s Quik Clay Detailing System will quickly and safely restore a smooth-as-glass finish. Polishes and waxes then apply and wipe off in half the time with dramatically improved results.

Quik Detailer: Mist and Wipe

Quik Detailer is the missing link between washes. Simply spray on and wipe off with a Meguiar’s Ultimate Wipe or a 100% cotton terry towel. Quik Detailer removes contaminants safely without scratching your paint. It is no wonder Quik Detailer is quickly becoming a favourite with owners of the UK’s best show cars.
Hope that answers it mate :D [/quote]

Little tip when claying.

Don't use the quik detailer - use a car shampoo solution in a spray bottle - makes washing the car after much easier and leaves you a whole bottle of Quik Detailer to use for touch ups rather than claying.

Any tips for how to use the Scratch X Dino?

It's more for trying to get rid of any swirls I've got.

Patience is required - Scratch X needs working in with some thing like a MicroFibre as that has more bite than a normal applicator pad.

You'll have arm's like Popeye once finished - it requires a few applications. If you want to rid the car of swirls you need something like a Porter Cable and a mild abrasive polish. I'm just ordering some Menzerna this week as it tackles VAG paint with ease.

I've just bought a couple of applicator pads and a cotton wash pad as well instead of using a sponge.

If it's nice tomorrow it can have the full works 8)

I used 1, 2, 3 and 5 today along with my Meguiars Nxt Generation Tech Wax and I can honestly say, Meguiars is quality.

The Hot Rims stuff worked great, although it's a bit hard getting all of the BBS with the in one place, really needs moving forward so you can do half and half.

But she looks great now.
