I was thinking of doing something like this recently, cos i have to put the seats down every weekend to squeeze my bmx in the boot. The polo can actually manage 2 bmxs with the front wheels off, but there's a special method to it!
Anyways, i decided against ripping the seats out cos i still sometimes need them for people carrying. I think you should get some carpet to cover all the metal and gubbins in the back, will make it look a lot smoother?
