Hello....and need help with Foglights

Post by ziyaad »

Hi. Just got my polo and found this forum. It's amazing...so far had everthing i needed. And you guys hav some wicked Polos. Anyway, just wondering about foglights. i've seen them on VAG parts. they're a bit out of my price range right now. i've seen some universal ones:

I'm not sure if they'll fit. Does anybody know if they will?

Thanks alot,

Ziyaad

Hi Ziyaad,

Welcome to the site

Personally i would just stretch the further little bit or save for a bit longer and get the VAG ones. They look quality and they are standard fit and easy to fit also

i think it would be better for you to save for a while and get the ones from vag as they will make your car look alot better

If you are after the ones that fit in the lower part of the bumper then Volks-Apart do them new for £27 plus VAT each

give them a call on 020 8317 2330 or see

www.volkswagenspares.com

(please note, i don't think the fog lights are actually listed on the website)

but i know they sell them as i just bought one recently :D

No probs, don't forget though, you will also need the new grills that are already cut out to fit round the foglights (assuming yours now are both solid black plastic ones ?)

see picture of my TDi with the fogs fitted :D

These can be bought from VW and i think they are pretty cheap (or even a scrappers)

If you can, go for the GTi Honeycombe ones 8) (look closely at the top GTi/TDi Grill and you will see what i mean)
