2. remove rubber bulkhead seal (a big rubber seal that runs the width of the engine bay at the back)
3. take out the right hand side plastic facia - may have some fasteners
4. now you'll be able to see the pollen filter. take off the plastic guard in front of it (clips off)
5. take the filter out with it's plastic surround around it
6. remove the old filter from the housing
7. put everything back together again. be careful to get the plastic surround on the filter properly (i think it has to lie inside one of the folds, you'll see what i mean when you get there) and also make sure the plastic facia is under the whole windscreen seal (may be tricky where the corner of the bonnet comes down, again, you'll understand when you come to it).
