my persoanl opinion would be to get something which is specifically for the polo. i'm not keen on universal back boxes!

either that or might be worth having a go at a powerflow backbox, they'll make it up to your taste and you can get exactly what you want!

Hope thats of some help!

Regards
Doug

Don't they just sound ridiculously loud? don't think it would suit an early model such as MK2 MK1..

The only person who has ever recommended a cherry bomb to me was some chavs in my class and college.. plus they are bright red painted and it wouldnt suit..

Although to be fair i am very interested in exhausts as i want to get one for my MK1.. i'd prefer not to have something incredibly loud, but more of a deep but subtle tone to it..

baring in mind i have a 895cc engine and so it revs very high.. so would sound ridiculous if it was a cherry bomb or the like..

Can anyone recommend something that will fit my MK1?

Yeh till i bumped into an old friend who has a MK2 polo and i was put straight off the idea..

I thought it just sounded ridiculous..

i mean dont get me wrong i wanted something loud, but not THAT loud..

and tbh.. it would suit some cars, but not a classic like an MK2 or MK1, or even an MK3 or MK4.. tbh.. Really i just think now from hearing one and seeing one on an MK2 that a VW (any VW) deserves better, especially since yours and mine are both very nice cars, you've done alot of work on yours and it looks subtle, clean and classy as per most users make theres look..

mine will be same with some ATS Classics on, wide tyres and lowering kit.. but the cherry bomb would just reck the image..
